Terms and conditions

  • 2027 Season Trial Terms & Conditions

By submitting a registration for Croydon FC’s 2027 trials, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Trial Registration & Selection
Registration for trials is an expression of interest to participate in the 2027 trial process. Registering for, or attending, trials does not guarantee selection, a team position, age group placement or a place at Croydon FC for the 2027 season.
All player selections and team placements are determined through Croydon FC’s trial and selection process.

    2. Parent/Guardian Consent & Registration
Croydon FC accepts trial registrations in good faith that the registration has been completed with the knowledge and consent of the player’s parent or legal guardian.

The registration process requires parent/guardian information to be provided before player information can be entered. By submitting a registration, the person completing the registration confirms that they have the appropriate knowledge and consent to register the player for trials.

While Croydon FC takes reasonable steps to structure the registration process appropriately, the club cannot independently verify the consent of every parent or guardian for every registration submitted. Responsibility therefore remains with the person completing the registration to ensure that the parent/guardian has been informed and has provided consent.

Players under 18 years of age should not independently register for trials without the knowledge and consent of their parent or legal guardian.

If a registration has been submitted without the knowledge or consent of a parent or legal guardian, the club should be notified as soon as possible by emailing trials@croydonfc.com.au.

    3. Accurate Information
All information provided during registration must be accurate and complete. Families are responsible for ensuring that all parent/guardian and player information provided is correct.

    4. Trial Check-In
Players must check in at the clubrooms for every trial session before attending the field.
Check-in opens 45 minutes before the scheduled trial and closes 15 minutes before the trial start time.
Families are responsible for allowing sufficient time to arrive, complete check-in and make their way to the trial.

    5. Late Arrivals
Players arriving after the check-in period has closed may not be permitted to trial, unless prior arrangements have been made with Croydon FC.

    6. Player & Family Conduct
Players are expected to participate in trials positively, respectfully and to the best of their ability.
Players, parents and guardians are expected to treat Croydon FC coaches, technical staff, volunteers, committee members, players and other families with respect throughout the trial process.

    7. Trial & Selection Decisions
Trial and selection decisions are made by Croydon FC’s appointed coaching and technical staff.
Attendance at trials does not create an entitlement to selection or to a particular team, competition level, position or age group.

    8. Trial Enquiries & Communication
All enquiries relating to trials must be directed to trials@croydonfc.com.au.
To ensure enquiries are managed consistently and fairly, individual trial matters should not be raised with coaches, volunteers or committee members during trials, training sessions or around the club.

    9. Trial Information Pack
Upon completion of registration, families will be redirected to a webpage containing the 2027 Trial Pack, where they can view and download the pack.

The Trial Pack contains important information about the trial process, what to expect, procedures and other relevant information for families attending trials.

Families are strongly encouraged to read the Trial Pack in full before attending their first trial.

By submitting a trial registration, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the requirements outlined above.
